Hard work in high school has paid off for college-bound seniors. The following students have earned Merit Scholarships to attend Alvernia University this fall.

Students at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Florham Campus, located in Madison, NJ have been named to the Dean's and Honors Lists for the Fall 2016 semester.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its fall 2016 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

A total of 11,758 students enrolled during the 2016 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

The following students have been named to Alvernia University's Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credits.

For senior defender Erin Casey (Hatfield, Pa./Gwynedd Mercy Academy), success on the field and in the classroom has been a constant during her time on The University of Scranton women's soccer team. Now, she has been named one of the top student-athletes in her sport. Casey has been named second-team Academic All-American by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), the highest honor recognizing student-athletes for their athletic and academic accomplishments.

Elizabethtown has named 198 students to the College Honors Program. Since its establishment in 1999, the Elizabethtown College Honors Program aims to provide students who have excelled both in academic and extracurricular activities with enhanced learning opportunities. Kutztown University has conferred degrees on nearly 1,500 students during the winter and spring terms. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish their requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The following students have been awarded degrees since the winter 2016 announcement. Students who have requested privacy (FERPA) are not listed publicly.
